An informative and reassuring picture book about the preparations a
family takes in advance of the oncoming Hurricane Anna. Noah helps his
parents put up the hurricane shutters, shop for supplies and keep informed of the hurricane's progress via computer and radio. This is a very short and to the point book. It does not go into great detail. I would probably not read it to a class. While the book is cute, it does teach much of a lesson. It could show children appreciation for their loved ones.

One of my first memories is of "reading" this book to my mom. I was actually just reciting it from memory, but at the time I didn't know the difference. Maybe this is a sentimental 5 star rating, but I love this book. I still have it 25 years later, and have read it to all of my children.

Auntie tries to make baby smile by doing silly things and offering toys. Nothing makes the baby smile; the baby even looks on the verge of tears. Finally auntie gives up and walks away. As she does so, the baby smiles.

Funny story and completely relatable. Adults are always trying to make babies laugh or smile, even doing the silliest things to accomplish it.
