A lovely book with a great range of activities to teach small children a range of skills. While based on Montessori principles, these activities would be fun and stimulating for any child, whether they be cared for at home full time or outside of the home, in a situation such as daycare or Montessori program.

The activities are well explained and illustrated, with ideas of how to continue on or take activities to the next level. There is also an explanation at the beginning of each activity as to what the aim is; and tips on how best to go about things. While the activities are not arranged for certain age groups, parents should be able to progress from simple to more complex activities as their child develops.… (mais)
