The thing is, you don’t mind any of the competition who might be confronted with, that is until he’s got a certain new female who has entered his life unexpectedly one night; a female who is so fragile and innocently pure that he hasn’t a single clue to how to handle her every single need.
What kind women would an Alpha male need some help in handling? How about a baby girl who’s been left at his doorstep. Coming to Max’s aid is the head of his security, a wolf shifter. He suggests his sister Vivienne, a half wolf shifter, might be able to handle the situation as the baby’s nanny.
I had no problem stepping into Vivienne’s shoes, and why not since I’d be within arm’s reach of Alpha hunk. I, like Vivienne or any woman, seeing such a beautiful infant, would immediately fall in love with it. But, as far as Max was concerned, her first impression had been a big letdown since she saw him as being nothing less than a narcissistic prick; that’s until she got to see his other persona, a persona she slowly began to fall in love with as she learned how to get around his numerous mood swings.
It is said that every cloud as a silver lining. Will this calamity in his life turn out to something he’s longed for? Will Max the fortitude to protect this child who he learns is actually his? How will Vivienne fare with what’s happening between her and Max?
Could there be a HEA for these two, a HEA that would terminate Max’s glory days as a devout playboy?
I’m not saying another word about the story with all of its twists and turns that keeps her readers wanting to how everything culminates on the final page.
So, for having given me and the rest of her readers a well-written, emotionally laden, somewhat erotic shapeshifter romance novel, I’ve given Ms. LaPorta 5 STARS for her endeavor here.… (mais)
