The Lakota Native Americans can be an inspiration to us at this time of year. Their Winter Solstice Ceremony honors the return of the sun with longer days into Spring, ensuring harvests for the future. With this comes gratitude to our ancestors and the connections with family and community which sustain us throughout the year. The solstice celebration also provides the opportunity for personal transformation as we reflect on our own seeds for growth that we want to nurture in the upcoming year. Sue will Introduce elements such as the Medicine Wheel, the number 4, and the circle, which are woven into the Solstice Celebration.
