This book was chosen as an Illinois Reads title a few years ago and I can see why. This sweet story is about a mouse who didn’t mean to do a great many things, but…. The story works well and the watercolor illustrations are nice. I like the book, but didn’t love it.

I fell in love with this book as soon as I started reading it. This is a story about a little mouse that sees a balloon, and ends up on an adventure. This book would be great to read to kindergartners and the illustrations are beautiful. This mouse has a ton of curiosity and ends up getting lost. In a classroom I could use this to demonstrate cause and effect and have students do an activity based around what happens with cause and effect.

This book is the classic tale of a mischievous mouse that finds himself in a situation he wasn't expecting. A ballon leads to a exiting adventures. Drawing is very much in the style of classical stuart little type of illustration. A very sweet and nimble story worth your read.

Aberdeen was a cute tale about a little mouse who goes on an accidental adventure. This book sends a good message about being brave when you need to be and that it's okay to still need your mommy.
