Olive Price (1903–1991)

Olive Price was born in Pittsburgh and lived in Mount Washington where she could see the three rivers--the Ohio, the Allegheny, and the Monongahela--and their connection to the city of Pittsburgh. Her body of work, often under the pseudonyms of Anne Cherryholmes or Barbara West, included picture books, radio plays, and biographies, as well as historical novels for young readers.
