This compendium of resources for making "sparkling" speeches and public addresses, provides Topics and a detailed Index.

Separate sections for jokes, epigrams, amusing definitions, unusual biographies of well-known figures, similes, phrases, biblical quotations, and quotations.

Series of quotations by pundits regarded in their day and time. It is topically arranged. The author also highlights basic elements of speech touted by the Toastmaster's organizational teachings. These are a bit dated but could be used if rewritten to fit into modern times.

This book has some really pathetic jokes but there are tons of very witty one liners to make up for it. It is worth having a browse anyhow.
