Israel Rabon (1900–1941)

Rabon was born in Lodz, Poland, to an impoverished, slum-dwelling family. His literary output was meager, consisting of two volumes of prose fiction and one book of poems. Nevertheless, these works have become recognized for the light they shed on the urban lumpenproletariat of pre-Holocaust mostrar mais Poland, as well as for their purely literary qualities.
