An Indian polymath and tremendously prolific writer, Prof. S. K. Ramachandra Rao was expert in many aspects of clinical psychology, Indian culture and its many subsidiaries including Buddhism, Jainism, Ayurveda, Vaastu, Vedic shastra, Advaita Vedanta, Sri Vidya, and Agama.  Prof. Rao was a dedicated researcher, writer and teacher for most of his adult life, publishing hundreds of books and articles.  He was also a well-regarded painter and sculptor; his formidable legacy of written works is still very worthy of study and appreciation.
