Noemi has been mute since the accident that claimed her mother's life. She enters into an arranged marriage with Connor as part of an agreement between Irish and Italian mafias. Connor doesn't want the marriage but agrees since he thinks a mute bride will suit him and not interfere with his life. Noemi is a witness to murder and hopes Connor can keep her safe.
I really enjoyed this story. Connor and Noemi match each other well and I liked how they gradually got to know each other. The murder keeps the tension high as Noemi tries to navigate the results.… (mais)

I'm currently on a hiatus, but omg I needed to read and review this!

I was instantly drawn in, and couldnt put it down! Rebecca Peterson moves to Belfast, Ireland in pursuit of a better life, leaving behind her job as a waitress, but moving away doesn’t stop her from having the nightmares that have terrified her for so long now.

I love Becca, she is strong, intuitive, and sassy! She knows what she wants to do and when the opportunity of a lifetime comes knocking at her door, she takes it and runs! I love that it takes place in Ireland and that there is a bit of mystery surrounding Becca and her origins. She has some run ins with some guys that are creepy to her but in reality they are faeries and they sense the bit of faery in her, even though she has no idea that she possesses that bit of magic!

I don't want to give toooo much away! You'll have to read it for yourself ;P I highly recommend it BTW!

I've never been into Faerie books, but this was amazing, and Twilight Siege is sooo freaking good so far, I'm about 30% into it! And I cannot wait to finish it! *FANGIRLS* I literally had a smile on my face the whole time reading this, hehe.… (mais)
