Not one of my favorites, but I did enjoy reading this book. It was really cute & of course, the pictures were well drawn and perfect!

I had never seen this book before so when I did see it, I had to just read it to see what it was about...Other than the obvious! lol

A large group of squirrels skis into a town, interrupting the towns people as they go about their business. As the townspeople try to figure out what to do, reporter Sally Sue Breeze realizes another problem: the squirrels are so wrapped up in their fun that they've forgotten to eat or sleep. She investigates the problem and comes up with a way for both the townspeople and the squirrels to be happy before too much harm can be done. The squirrels' misadventure is told through simple language with clear rhythm and rhyme, making it easy for early readers to grasp the language. The plot is engaging, with the right amount of tension to hold short attention spans. The illustrations are colorful and detailed, providing the reader with excellent depictions of the emotion of both squirrel and person.… (mais)

A town is overcome by, believe it or not, hundreds of squirrels on skis and Sally must think fast to protect both the town and the squirrels. Part of The Cat in the Hat Beginner Book collection, this is another witty story written especially for emerging readers. Complete with simple text, large font, and rhyming phrases in classic Dr. Seuss fashion, the story reads in a comfortable cadence. The colorful ink illustrations leave plenty of details on each page to zoom in on, often adding entertaining elements. This book is perfect for a snowy day read aloud filling in the rhymes or for the new reader looking to find a book he/she can read all on their own.… (mais)
