Alfred Regnery

This book follows two intelligent, well-read men, as they make eleven religious pilgrimages between the years of 1996 and 2017. It is written from a Catholic/Orthodox perspective. Every time I picked up the book to read another chapter, I felt such a deep calming peacefulness. The style in which it was written makes it a relaxing read. It is full of interesting historical and cultural information. This is a solid 4 star book. Perhaps some Catholics might consider it a 5 star read. But I think anyone even a little bit interested in Christianity, History, Travel, or Culture would enjoy this book. There is a lot here to enjoy.… (mais)
