The Trouble with Time (Time Rats #1) by Lexi Revellian is a pretty good time travel book. I read the second book first and liked it and just now getting to the first one. I liked it but I think book 2 was better. It got a little confusing in places and I had to re-read it but mostly it was pretty good. They are like time cops and then they has to deal with a rogue machine but there might be a insider that has gone bad. Interesting and kept me reading.

Dreams of the Machines(Time Rats book 2 ) by Lexi Revellian can be read as a stand alone, I didn't read the first one and was able not to get lost. The book has an android, sex-bot, that is given an upgrade, illegally, and she uses that to get out the time she is in, not just the town! A time police is after her, esp. when they find in the future that androids have taken over. It all sounds corny when I write it but sounds good when the author writes it. Read hers not mine. Good book.

I liked this book. The main character is a straight spoken unsophisticated woman, trained as one of the legendary knights. She gets away with passing as a man until everyone trusts her and then finds out a secret of her past that might change everything.
The ending fits the story, it's complex, but clear.

Recommendations do work! Her first book was recommended by my sister, and I’ve been hooked on Lexi’s stories since. This is the 4th of her books and it’s an interesting tale of a young woman who learns trust in the oddest places, and also finds out how far she will go to protect her friends.

Rebel is struggling to make ends meet and get a degree so she can get a better job. She saves the day for a Russian mogul and gets her first break. But can she trust him not to be the evil pretender that others say he is? She finds out that loyalty isn’t always blind and if people aren’t what they seem, it doesn’t mean they are the bad guy.

I recommend this if you like to follow a character as they are faced with surprising challenges in their search for independence.
