I was a little leery when advised to pick this one, especially in our present day hyper-political issues with the flag and the anthem, but I turned out to be very, very glad I did. I was amazed at the many ways our flag was been used and photographed.

I think this will make a lovely table book in the American household (though I don’t feel it would translate worldwide at all). There were so many things I did not expect to see the flag on that I found myself wide-eyed reading all the background on (especially the hot air balloon and the whiskey barrel flags). I think everyone should give this American history a whirl!… (mais)
