Typos aside, (and there are a lot), this was an interesting enough read. I'm pretty skeptical about orb photographs, but I do enjoy reading about personal experiences.

Give me a book about Astrology and I will likely lose my mind. That is how much I love it. It fascinates me. That was surely the case here because this was one of the best Astrology books out there. I have so many of them but often time there are parts that I don't like or that do not ring true. That is not the case with this book.

It is definitely not a book that I found myself reading as a typical book but more one that I went to the signs that meant something. In my case, Virgo and also for my son. While I am an August Virgo (28th) he is a Septemeber Virgo (11th). I really appreciated that this author showed that while we are alike in many ways there is a distinct difference in how our sign applies to us. As I mentioned, this book goes way more in-depth than other books, websites, and newspaper horoscopes. For the astrology addict like myself, this book is a necessity.

This is a book I will be buying a paperback to add to my ever-expanding collection. I highly recommend it.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher through Net Galley. What follows is an honest review.
I really like this book because it goes past fire signs and water signs. Beyond the fact that I’m a Leo and have the heart of a lion (which is true but I don’t have the personality to rock the fire sign). It actually goes into the planets and how they help to determine what your sign is up to at the moment.
It took me a little longer to get through the first part of the book because I thought “what does this have to do with my sign?” But astrology is more than that. I feel like I’ve kind of had the wrong idea about it for many years.
Do I believe that the planets align to give you a perfect day? I don’t know what the planets were up to the day I met my husband by chance. I don’t know where Venus was when we got our house appraised for what we needed it to appraise for to get approved. I don’t know if there is anything that will make me believe in astrology guiding my life because I’m too cynical and nothing is that easy. I do know now there there is a sort of science behind it and that’s pretty cool.
To me it’s now kind of like the weather. For sure, there’s science, but the science can only predict. It isn’t an absolute. Anyway I think this is a cool reference for astrology.

If I could rate a book "less than zero" , I would give this book that rating.

I seldom write about books that I dislike and actually don't write about a lot of the ones I enjoy. It's primarily dependent on the amount of time available for concentrating on something other than my own writing. The following is about a lousy one that I thought had to be self-published, as I thought no publisher would print anything that bad.
The name of the book is Forevermore, written by Kristy Robinett and published this year by Llewellen Publications. In checking on the publisher, I find that they publish supernatural and other materials that are not considered mainstream. If there is a market for it, this company will publish it.

The book was written by a psychic medium who claims that Edgar Allen Poe has been one of her mentors throughout her lifetime. Mrs. Robinett makes many claims about other mentors, seeing dead people, ghosts, etc. and I don't dispute those claims. Maybe she really, truly does. I don't believe the Edgar Allen Poe connection, though.

What disgusts me about the book is that the lady can't write! Here's a quote from page 106: ""Poe loved animals and even had his own cat with his wife Virginia that he doted on, believed to be a tortoiseshell named Catterina."

'nuff said!
