bad habits lead to good endings. And beginnings.

This was a great angst love story about Briar and Asher. Asher came from an unstable home and Briar came from a wealthy home they were total opposites but fit so right together. I loved this book and even though Briar is a little young she is very mature and handles situations with such class and grace that you overlook her age (she’s 17 going on 18 and Asher is 21). I can’t wait to read the others stories.

Rewrite everything

This book has been my favorite read this year so far. We have Sebastian who is part of a carnival and does stunts with his “brothers” he believes he is cursed and doesn’t do relationships of any kind. Evan starts out as a rich spoiled brat and some how always finds her self running to the carnival. Sebastian and Evan meet and it’s cute how they end up finding each other every summer. A series of unfortunate events happen and Evan runs away with the carnival. I loved the push and pull of the relationship they had, I loved watching the angst with these two, and I loved the family bond he and his “brothers” had. There is a happy ending I say this because I read one person say we don’t get closure just a happy for now but I don’t think that’s true it’s a happy for now and then some. Trust me you don’t want to miss this.… (mais)

Jesse’s Girl

Holy Crap that was amazing!! I thought the first two books were amazing and my favorite but Jesse’s story beats them all. I’m not going to lie I was a little unsure if I’d like the little brother book as much but Jesse has grown up and knocked me for a loop. He is broody, angry, but oh so sweet and sexy when you get to see the real him. Allie was awesome she was tough but sweet and perfect for Jess. Their push and pull had the chemistry and tension built so high that when they do get together it burns the pages up. Another great read by the author.… (mais)

I read SIncerely, Dane by Ilsa Madden Mills and this short story was such a sweet read.

This is a cute and fun novella that is part of anthology and I hope will eventually be a full length story. Dane and Piper went to school together from high school on and now that Dane’s twin bother is married to Piper’s best friend they end up spending a lot of time together. Piper has always crushed on Dane but believes he has her firmly placed in the friend zone that she just accepts their relationship as is until one night a text makes her think about more. Dane hasn’t had it easy in life, he derailed at one point, and his relationship with Ari fizzled out because deep down I truly believe he’s always felt like Piper was his. In this story Dane comes to Piper’s apartment dressed as a werewolves and so the chaos ensues. He recruits her to help with a scavenger hunt that ends with an epic ending/beginning. The tension between them was tangible, the chemistry off the charts, and the can they will they flowed off the pages. I rally hope we get more of their story!!… (mais)
