Better than I expected! Silly intro to a lot of different philosophical concepts using plots from Sci-Fi movies. Fun to read.

I was very interested in the subject so I was well motivated to read this book. Unfortunately, although the first two chapters were definitely interesting and well written, in the rest of the book the writing becomes a bit too convoluted and not easy to follow. Too baroque to be effective. However, the central problem discussed in the book is well posed and the perspective given by Rowlands interesting. It deserves a read for those who are really into ethology and animal behavior.
