This was a short, cute, and sweet erotica. Anthony hires an escort to go to a mascarade ball with her she feels like a princess and they have wild passionate sex. Cute and sweet and I liked this short story. If you are looking for a wild out erotica then this may not be your book if you are looking for a Pretty Woman/Beauty and the Beast book this is your book! I liked it 3 stars for me!

This is a super-short erotic vignette, where a young woman with a mad crush on a rock 'n roll drummer gets a backstage pass, and lives out her wildest sexual fantasies with him.

I received a free copy of this story.

The sex is described in loving, explicit detail. What I found problematic is:

1) MAJOR head-hopping (changes in POV/points of view).

"He smiled [could be his or her POV] at her gathering her thoughts [must be her POV, he has no way of knowing what she is doing], she was f***ing delicious [his POV], and he couldn’t wait to taste [his POV] how innocent she was."[this must be her POV, he has no way of knowing her level of experience.] While some writers do shift POV within a scene, usually there's a scene break, for sure at least a paragraph break, and POV shifts within the same sentence is simply Not Done, because it is confusing.

2) Believability - there's this whole private area set aside behind a curtain, where his drum kit is set up (wouldn't they be breaking it down and loading it into the truck after the show?), where her best friend who accompanied her backstage doesn't come to look for her? And NO ONE else intrudes or pokes a head past the curtain, despite drum and sex noises? I get it, it's a fantasy, but a few words or description or an actual door could have made it believable.

3) Lack of condom use.

4) No discussion of age; the drummer has no qualms about being involved with this groupie, or giving her a beer. We readers know she is 21; HE doesn't.

5) The author takes care to emphasize that the female protagonist has had only one lover prior to this (Why? Because she doesn't want said character to appear slutty?). I would rather read a character who is unabashedly sexual and knows what she wants, than a near-virgin who jumps right into doing the wild thing, even with her fantasy man.

These are all things that could be addressed, in future versions of this story, or in future stories by this author. She's got an excellent erotic imagination, just needs some tightening down to make this a great story.

The Fantasy is a short story that caught me by surprise. It starts with a great set up of the characters and their relationship. This lead me to sympathizing with Charles and Jennifer's situation and need for a little spice in their marriage.

What I wasn't expecting was the type of action that took place later on in the story. It was a welcome addition to the story because it came out of nowhere in my opinion. I almost wish there were a few more pages added in order to prolong the sexy scenes. I see room for a definite sequel, or more, dealing with these two characters. I'm interested to find out the aftermath of this night of fantasy and what it did for their marriage.… (mais)

Nicole Ryan gives us a hot, very “rock n’ roll” short story with Backstage Pass. It doesn’t waste time getting down and dirty; it definitely gets a little dirty. With this story you’ll find a rock-star fantasy come true as a Alexis becomes the lucky groupie to win over Kolby, the musician all the women want to get with.

The action in this story, while being hot, was a little confusing at time. I think it was a little fast paced but jumbled. Despite that, it still was enjoyable, especially for the length this story was. There was also an interesting section with a guitar that, well it was interesting to imagine. I’ll leave it at that.

If you’re looking for a sexy story about sex, (not drugs,) and rock n’ roll, Backstage Pass might be a good choice for you.
