Zachary Ryan

I wasn't sure what exactly I was getting into with this one. The synopsis sounded interesting, but I was worried I wasn't going to be the target audience. Was I ever wrong! I really enjoyed this book. The opening line made me laugh, and I knew I was in for a ride. Madison is a great narrator, and she definitely embodies what I'd expect from your stereotypical 'Queen B'. (Seems like some things haven't changed that much since I graduated HS). I have to admit I'm impressed with how captivated Ryan kept me with this murder mystery set against the backdrop of HS drama and teenage angst. Without spoilers lets just say the characters stay true to themselves to the very end, which I appreciate given that most of them are teenagers (and really how much did you change during HS?) Overall definitely recommend!… (mais)
