About the Author

Karl Ryberg is an architect, light psychologist, and researcher whose specialty is using precision light for therapy and design. He has invented a series of advanced therapeutic projectors and runs Monocrom in Stockholm. Karl lectures worldwide on the creative use of light for health, happiness, mostrar mais and healing. This is the second book I've read on the health effects of light, and decidedly the better of the two. I was still a little disappointed that many of the claims here go beyond the realms of hard science; however, some of the material here is indeed backed up by research. The writing is good and the book flows along nicely. Including a chapter on nutrition seems like an odd choice and I'm not sure how much value that adds; it felt a bit like filler to me. Still, I haven't yet found a better book on light, and if you haven't done much research on light's health effects you might learn a good bit. Recommended if you're interested in this field.… (mais)
