Roberta L Salper

Salper's work came out of an early women's studies course she taught at San Diego State College in 1970 and contains an interesting perspective of being a pioneer work in a new field that was being met with resistance. The first part of the book focuses on recovering historical essays from feminism's first wave, the second half covers the women's liberation movement and includes articles that were written around the time the book was put together. She includes a short bibliography with a focus on contemporary work that lists several periodicals and small press books with instructions on how to acquire them.… (mais)
