Ms. Samek does a fine job of including familiar Christmas traditions, stories, and ideas but giving them a spot-on kitty twist. Some of her techniques, such as substituting "yowl" for "yule" and "meowy" for "merry" are more filler than funny, but her characterizations of cat behavior in the context of celebrating Christmas will make any cat owner smile in recognition. Her re-written carols, stories, and poems of Christmas are also fun.
