Just okay. The writing was kind of stilted. The first half of the book was a little draggy. After she began to have problems in the second half of the book, my interest level picked up. There was quite a bit of sex in the story but it wasn't particularly hot or memorable. Sex isn't plot though and this story needed more plot. As I mentioned, the second half of the book had a lot more tension because there was more going on in the pages than just bed hopping. The sci fi element was okay if a little hokey but there was quite a bit of potential which was not fully developed.

Big spoiler here, read only after you've read the book. if each of these men were actually just a different part of Dominick's personality, why did none of them love her as much as Dominick did? I'd be pretty irate if I found out that some part of him was saying that he didn't want to stay with her (Mark) or that he didn't find her physically to his taste (Hauser)

This story, though very unrealistic, has enough real emotions to make it an interesting read. The main character finds herself on an alien ship where the purpose of her presence is to "service" human males on a regular basis. The characters seemed realistic enough to make this a good read.

"The Tiburon Duet" contains two smoking hot and entertaining stories by Lara Santiago. This author does a wonderful job mixing humor with erotica and that's fairly hard to find these days.

"Just a Kiss" tells the story of exactly what the title says. When Gabrielle is chased by a wacko killer, she manages to escape but ends up in a SPACESHIP? Locked in a room with a gorgeous hunk of unconscious man, she can't help taking a good long look...or ten. And when he seems to ask for a kiss, well...what the heck. It's just a kiss, right?

"Just One Embrace" provides the follow-on story of one of the secondary characters in "Just a Kiss". Crag is the Commander to the Queen and also a man in pain from the loss of his life partner, even though she wasn't his life mate. On a 'vacation' on Earth to visit his old buddy and his Earthling life mate, Crag is very attracted to Ellie. But when Ellie gets pregnant, will Crag be able to overcome their differences...will Ellie?

Lots of very, very funny dialogue and very, very hot sex. Lara Santiago will leave you gasping, whether from the heat or the humor. So if the mixture of those two things is what you enjoy, don't miss "The Tiburon Duet".

Actually read the e-book.
"Menagerie" by Lara Santiago was pretty interesting. It's a sci-fi/fantasy kind of erotic story that had a very different premise.

Valerie is NOT looking forward to her mother's visit. See, Valerie is a little larger than current fashion dictates and she's tired of hearing her mother, and others, tell her if she just loses a few pounds she can 'catch' a man. One minute she's jogging up the path and the next thing she knows, she's on a ship in a room with a bunch of other women and there's a BLUE man talking to them! Blue dude says their job is to 'service' a group of men, 4-7 men, to keep them sane for the next three years and then the aliens will return them to Earth at almost the exact same time they were inadvertantly scooped up. Needless to say Valerie is sure she's dreaming AND she's ADD anyway so she keeps missing parts of Blue's talk AND she's not sure she can just have sex with strangers. Then enroute to the 'claiming area', Valerie takes a wrong turn (because it looks so much more interesting) and runs into a gorgeous guy. She decides to let him/them/his group be the ones to 'claim' her...after all, at least she's spoken with him and he seems to like her looks and body.

I don't want to give too much away and the story dragged in some places, but it was a VERY interesting ending. There is no menage in the story. Valerie has sex with 5 different men, but each at a different time. Interesting premise and very different from the normal human abduction stories.
