Blanche Saunders

Great book on dog training! The author's dogs came from a breeder who attended the same church I did when I was growing up in the 1970s, and once told my mother she thought it was inappropriate for her to wear pants to do the Gospel reading!

My father gave me this book in the early 1950s and I trained my collie-x mutt from it. She was a good learner and I enjoyed training her, so it was a good experience. This was long before positive reinforcement, though, and I'm now a big fan of clicker training (operant conditioning).
