Phallic critiques : masculinity and twentiet… por Peter Schwenger
I skimmed this. It's a very interesting book on "masculine style," which the author understands as a construct. He analysizes ow writers like Mailer, Hemingway and Mishima constructed it. Since I have no interest in the texts or the men, it was hard to get a lot out of the book, but I suspect others will find it very interesting.
