Col. Robert L. Scott was a pilot in the China-Burma theater during 1942-1943. He shot down 13 Japanese planes with his P-40 fighter. He flew with the Flying Tigers as well as the US Army Air Corps. This book gives good descriptions of air combat and the life they led while flying. It is not written as a religious book, but simply his personal experiences.

Seemed good when I read it. Hard to remember the details now.

Great book, authentic with some plane id errors. Probably the first WW2 book that I read as a high school freshman.
