Kit Seaton

This was kind of a let down, honestly. While there are a couple interesting characters and the art is pretty nice, the story as a whole lacks backbone. So much is hinted at or teased, but the authors fail to deliver any real substance to feed the reader. At one point, a character grumbles, "No straight answers", and that exactly how I felt about this book. "The Black Bull of Norroway" promises a lot, but in reality there is just a lot of half-hearted exposition and partially formed tales of mythical dead people.… (mais)

I think this graphic novel would make prefect fall read. This author normally writes YA contempories with a LGBTQ elements and this book was no difference. This book was a eeiry and spooky read cilled with magic and witchcraft. This book gave me really big fall vibes. I also loved the main character dealing with a long distance romanc and the magical mysyery that pushed the story forward. I think that the final book would also have stunning art and would love to see more books set in this world. It was a fun early fall read!!… (mais)
