In "Red & Yellow's Noisy Night" by Josh Selig, Red is playing on his guitar or "strummy" while Yellow is trying to sleep. Both Red and Yellow view what they are doing as the right thing. Eventually they come to a compromise as Red realizes that he can benefit both of them so he plays Yellow to sleep. The message the book delivers of compromise is one that is very easily related to and is a very important message to children. When Red and Yellow realize that there is a way to benefit both of them the child reading may see that not everything needs to go exactly how they pictured it.… (mais)
