Don’t miss this cute story about Rena, who works in a mine setting dynamite and Josh, with daughter Gabi, who capture her heart with the help of a pink handled pistol , a legacy from Annie Oakley. I especially liked the people who befriended Rena and spritely Gabi, daughter to Josh.
A great addition to the Pink Pistol Sisterhood series. It has excitement, humor and a solid faith element. I am looking forward to the rest of the series .

This is a sweet romance novel. Focused as a historical novel, the main character comes to town as a mail order bride. I love the fact that the groom is a no-show but his brother is an identical twin and their dad is the matchmaker. This made the plot very entertaining and this a truly fascinating and fun read. Quick read for those cold nights tucked under a blanket with a hot toddy or hot chocolate. The characters are well-written and so relatable. You can feel their angst. It was nice to read a happy and inspirational romance. I love to have those thrown in. Since this is Book 1 in the series, I can't wait for the next one to come out. I'm hooked.… (mais)

I have just finished the first story in this box set and I doubt i will read the remainder. What follows was my reaction to the first book, “The. Christmas Cowboy.”

Clean, sweet romance. ✅
Good, engaging characters ✅
Fundamental plot has potential to be good. ✅

Totally let down by the fact that everything is ”tell” and no “show”. Sadly it made me feel like I was reading a list of chores - shopping; cook meal; eat meal; chat; wash up; go to bed. It was so uninvolving that I ended up skim-reading just to find out how it ended.
