Estate and financial planning for people living with COPD is a great book to learn from. It's not easy to do financial planning for family or others for that matter in the even you are required to do so. I learned so many things about COPD and I did have someone with it.

Estate and Financial Planning for People Living with COPD is a straightforward and helpful book that covers the following issues: Organizing Financial, Legal, Tax, and Emergency Information; Creating a Budget and Developing a Financial and Investment Plan; Reviewing All Insurance Coverage; Designating a Person to Handle Financial and Legal Issues; Designating a Person to Make Health Care Decisions and Access Medical Records; Communicating Your Health Care Wishes; Planning and Executing Beneficiary Designations and Reviewing Ownership of Assets; Signing a Will; and Creating a Revocable Living Trust. While stressing the importance of consulting professionals as you complete each of the tasks, the book sets out guidelines, tips, and advice on how to prepare for such consultations as well as laying out steps to accomplishing the tasks you can do on your own. The book's target audience includes not only individuals who suffer from COPD but also caregivers of COPD patients. This is an excellent book for anyone suffering from a chronic health problem even if it is not COPD.… (mais)

It took a while to wade through the legalese in this book. I feel that other readers may want to become familiar with the basics of estate planning before they read this book. That being said, it was very enlightening to learn about what to do and what to avoid in the process of planning for COPD sufferers.

I was able to use information from this book to compare other estate planning information that I had received from other. there were some good tips and informations but I would investigate other resources and consult with a good legal consul before making any decisions. Otherwise its a good start and well written!
