vacation read #7. weird little novelette. Sad, strange imagery. Freaky ending.
A short story that felt like young adult cyberpunk... right up to the end, where it got a little freaky.
Matthew Smith seems to know his way around a sentence and while I only gave the story three stars, I am interested in reading more of his stuff (thus the "short story as marketing tool" meme is successful).
