Midwinter Mysteries: A Christmas Crime Anthology por Keith Moray
A collection of crime stories around a Christmas theme. The best include the tie-in with the Slonsky series by Graham Brack, the one about Charles Dickens, the story about an older lady with an interesting wartime background and the final story in the collection regarding a dead son and his mother's desperation to get in touch with him. The others were adequate for the most part, though I found some completely unbelievable such as the one about the street beggars - it didn't work on so many levels. So on balance I would give this a 3 star rating.… (mais)
