Ever wish you could read someone’s mind? Author Harmony Stalter says you can practically do that if you know what to look for. In her new book, “Employee Body Language Revealed: How to Predict Behavior in the Workplace by Reading and Understanding Body Language”, she discusses what subconscious behaviors reveal about a person’s demeanor. You’ll never look at another person the same way again!

“Employee Body Language Revealed” is a fascinating exploration of human emotion and the corresponding body language that goes along with it. Stalter presents an extremely well researched book on the various aspects of reading another person, explains ‘open’ and ‘closed’ stances, and why each is displayed subconsciously. Further, she combines several singular behaviors into group and explains that no one behavior should be used to determine a person’s mindframe; certain mannerisms can mean totally different things depending on the context.

Stalter teaches you how to ‘read’ others while also learning to alter your own body language. Why look hesitant and unsure when you can exude confidence, relaxation, and happiness with a few minor behavior modifications? Clear and articulate, her information is organized for easy comprehension and quick reference. “Employee Body Language Revealed” is the perfect read for managers and supervisors but learning to interpret non-verbal communication is a skill that anyone can benefit from. There are very few books that I consider ‘recommended for anyone’ but this is definitely one that fits into that category. In the wake of such tragedies as the recent Tucson, Arizona shooting and the myriad of violent school and workplace incidents, it’s imperative that we all take better notice of those around us in an effort to minimize or avoid these types of manmade disasters. If more people could aptly read body language, could a potential event be averted? There’s always that possibility… and books such as this can open these doors.

“Employee Body Language Revealed: How to Predict Behavior in the Workplace by Reading and Understanding Body Language” is a must read! Learn and immediately apply your new-found knowledge on those around you; it’s not only intriguing but it will help you relate to others on a completely different interpersonal level. Eye-opening and unbelievably amazing!
