Christopher Fry : an appreciation por Derek Stanford
A look at the Playwright in the wake of his early plays "A Phoenix Too Frequent ", and the magnificent "The Lady's Not For Burning." There was more to come, but this is what I could get after doing a few scenes from "The Lady's". the book is adequate, but the view of the playwright's corpus turned out to be far too narrow. As a snapshot of the postwar British stage, it is a useful work.
