This book was OK, but it wasn't great.

Pros:
- lots of ideas

Cons:
- a lot of the content was repeated (often several times). For example, the following tips were re-used multiple times over: use basic shapes, only draw a small portion, simplify, draw the sky shape first. The book could have been significantly more concise (and far more engaging) without all the repetition - after the first chapter/section, I started to skim a lot of the content looking for the new/unique ideas.
- while there were many sketches through out the book, these would have been far more useful if more were broken down to define what we were meant to be looking at (ex: making a simplified line drawing next to the sketch to show how it exemplifies perspective). A novice might not be able to recognize what the author was trying to demonstrate, especially with some of the ones relating to perspective.… (mais)
