As the leaves come together in the fall season, their colors start to change, dstrust and discrimination, yet they learn that no matter what color they are on the outside, they are all the same color on the inside.
My personal reaction was that this is a great teaching book and it does not matter your color.
Classroom extensions- go outside and find different kinds of leafs.
You can also color the leaf whatever color you want.

3.5 stars, I liked this short novel. Hero and heroine seemed meant for each other and the heroine wasn't silly. They both admitted their love for each other with no big misunderstanding. A little steamy, good story though.
