Parts of this book I liked very much, other parts not as much. The interaction between Greg and Ryan didn't work as well for me as I would have liked.Greg seemed too much of a mentor/father-figure and although it didn't squick me out, it also didn't allow for me to fully embrace their relationship.

I thought the book was okay, maybe a bit under developed in every way. The BDSM, more specifically the D/s relationship seemed unbalanced; most of the time it read like Derek just took what he wanted from Blue. Maybe this was because of the way it was written – the majority of the story is told from Derek’s POV, especially the sex scenes – but it didn’t feel comfortable to me.
I’m kind of intrigued to see how Derek and Blue’s story continues, yet I’m unsure if I care enough to read the next book.… (mais)
