One of my favorite vampire romance series. We are introduced to Sabine who seems like an everyday ordinary high school student but the town she lives in has its secrets and on her 18th birthday she will be summoned to fulfill her destiny, which will be to marry a vampire and help keep the town’s secrets safe. One evening while Sabine is out contemplating her destiny and wanting to run away, she meets Remy, the vampire she is destined to be with. She finds herself scared of him, he taunts her, he is in her mind and dreams, and she is extremely attracted to him though she doesn’t want to be. We follow these two in their journey to fulfill their destinies, try to tolerate each tolerate each other, and eventually come to realize they may even be falling in love. The secrets of the town is starting not to make much sense to Remy and Sabine so they are curious as to what is really happening and it ends with Remy leaving with his maker.… (mais)
