Fae, Vampires, Hellhounds, oh my! I was hooked within the first few chapters, and didn’t want to put the book down until I was finished. Unfortunately, life happens, so it took me a few days to finish this book. I must say, Book #2 is on my TBR list for sure!

I wasn’t sure what to expect by the title of the book, until I realized it was the main character’s name (okay, I probably could have read a few reviews to have figured that out, but I didn’t). Needless to say, I am so glad I gave this book a chance. There are characters in the beginning that I am not sure how I feel about, and some that I thought for sure I would dislike. Once again, I was proven wrong throughout the book. The end left me going “what? I need more!”. Any good book will do that for you, and this one does not leave you disappointed (except when you realize you are addicted).

I used the Amazon Synopsis because it is perfect for this book (we all know in some cases it isn't.) I actually got this book in exchange for an honest review. I loved this book. The world created was original, the book was well edited and I loved the transition of Kas the main character from scared teen to bad tail.

Kasadya Hellhound Twisted by Karen Swart

WTH?? OMG??? REALLY? That is what is running through my head after reading this book. I have so many emotions warring with each other- sympathy, anger, sadness, betrayel and more. This author knows how to pack a wallop regarding her writing. I was so enthralled with her first book that I bought her second one and read within a day. I am still left needing and craving more!! I can't believe the events that took place in the book. This book is filled with betrayel, conspiracy, love, friendship, intrigue, death, action and more. This book is so amazing and hoping the author will have the next book soon so I can read more of Kas's journey. I cried in a few places and that is something for me since I don't do that alot. This series has become one of my favorites reminding me of Richelle Mead's Vampire Academy books.

The story continues where it was left off where Kali is captured and everyone goes and saves her. Kas finds out even though they saved her there is a death charm killing her slowly. She has to find a way to deliver the payment to Ballen and save her friend. I won't say more since that would lead to spoilers on this amazing book.… (mais)

Kasadya Hellhound Awakened by Karen Swart

WOW! Holy Crap what a book!!! Not a moment without action and something going on! First book I read by this author and I'm enthralled with this series. As soon as I got done with this book picked up her second book and part way through it now! I love the characters and the dialogue between them. I don't know who I love more on the guys Chaz, Caim, Max?! So much hut maleness it is unbelievable!! The characters are intriguing and you experience everything with Kas, her emotions and mental battles. Absolutely in love with this book it became one of my most favorite!! The ending is unbelievably shocking and an absolute cliffhanger. Once you read the ending you will know why I had to pick up the next book. A very unique take on the angels vs demons and good vs evil story line.

Kas is a regular teen until she so happens to shift to another place. She is then plunged into a cursed life trying to redeem herself since she is a fallen. Her parents take her to the Hellhouse to start her training on becoming a demon fighter. A week after she is there the unthinkable happens, she follows a fellow student that is in a trance like state. Only when she touches her, she is taken to a new hell. Will she survive? Can she save her friend with what little training she has?
