So this is a book by a British guy about Hungarian culture that he experienced by living here. I guess that makes me not the target audience, but I still thought this book might be interesting, since I'm also Hungarian.

Unfortunately, I just found it... really boring and sometimes even offensive? I don't know if this book would be interesting to people from abroad, but I kept reading these long descriptions of perfectly mundane Hungarian things that were quite normal to me, and just being really bored. I know that the title itself has aliens in it, but sometimes it really felt like we are being described as aliens for just... doing normal stuff? And often it wasn't even explained why our things are weird, or how others do it.

tldr; the back of this book says this book laughs WITH Hungarians, but that's not how it feels like to me.
