This was very average. It has some brief moments where it comes alive but mostly it doesn't.

Not such a great film, but with some interesting details and nice shots. There is some unfortunate sentimentality around the imaginary, young, pretty, female secretary whose fiance survives the landing.

I recognized Calton Hill immediately, but not the other locations. Wish I'd managed to hit those particular Scottish beaches the last time I was in Edinburgh.
