As a Sunday School graduate, I found this book of biblical trivia unimpressive. It consists of bullet point lists of people and things (such as the miracles associated with Moses and the sons of David) without any sort of context, interspersed with explanations of common English expressions derived from the Bible and Evangelical answers to questions such as "What Does it Mean When the Holy Spirit Is Within You?" A multiple choice quiz section rounds the book out. I was hoping that this book might be useful for a church trivia night, but it really isn't set up that way. Ok, I guess, but no great shakes.… (mais)

This is one of Stan Toler's books that is worth reading. There are some great ideas for increasing stewardship in the church. One thing I do not like is that the title indicates that it a how to make money for the church.

Much like the author's The People Principle, this is a "one-size-fits-all" approach to ministry. Toler seems to love catchy lists, acrostics and such. It approaches ministry from the standpoint that what works here will work everywhere. Not true.
