This is a great book explaining that being different is not at all bad. In the beginning, Spookley didn't want to e square, he wanted to be a circle like the other pumpkins. The other pumpkins tease Spookley for being square. Until one day the other pumpkins needed spookley by saving them as they would roll and he didn't. Spookley saves the other pumpkins by blocking the fence and helped them to stay put. Since Spookley saves the day the other pumpkins looked at him differently. They didn't look at Spookley the same ever again. This made Spookley glad to be a square Pumpkin again. This book teaches you to not judge a book by its cover. Great book for kids to understand that being different can be good.… (mais)

In this book, Spookley, a square pumpkin, is made fun of. However, his shape soon comes in handy when he saves the day.
