Nope. The entire thing just felt like that guy at the party who is trying so, so hard to be clever and funny.

Picked this one up for book club. This book was fine. Cute in places and sad in others. Some of the focus on sex got old and distracted me from the overall story. However, it did feel like it could be a real family with real dysfunction. I think this is one that might actually make a better movie than book.

This one got off to a Not-For-Me start with the widower trying to kill rabbits on his lawn by throwing stones.

He's basking in self-aware self-pity as he stupidly sets up adultery with a woman who will be related to his sister
Debbie when she gets married.

Turns out sadly unfunny and predictable.

Sure hope that Everything Changes soon because this book was not all that funny or fun to read.

Biopsy plot went on way too long.
