Harry Turner

Have you ever wondered what a book would be like if it was written by that grouchy old man who yelled at you to "Get Off His Lawn? Well search no further, since Harry Turner self-publishes a book that lets you know there is no music other than his music (oldies, which he desperately wants everyone to call "Golden Music").

Strangely, since the book is self-published, it appears Mr. Turner was getting paid by the word, since the book is filled with lists of names of everyone in different groups. lists of top hits, and line after line of songs and chart positions. Plus, Mr. Turner also fills his book with selected excerpted quotes from a few other books to try to prove his point that his music is the only music which matters.

There's a lot more wrong with this book, but I think the above two paragraphs pretty much let everyone know why I rated this one star.… (mais)
