D'artiste: Character Modeling Digital Artists Masterclass, is a beautiful book, well suited to the coffee table as well as the office bookshelf. However, this book is not suitable as a beginners tutorial guide. The book has features by three artists, Francisco A. Cortina, Pascal Blanche, and the illustrious Steven Stahlberg. Each section includes an interview with each author, a tutorial by that author, a gallery of their work, and a gallery of favorite works from other artists with critiques. This book is invaluable for the little tips and tricks it offers to the intermediate or advanced character modeller and gives a valuable insight to each artist's workflow.… (mais)
