Comprehensive explanations and descriptions of Sjögren's and so many of its potential complications, written by doctors (hypochondriacs probably shouldn't read it, but if you are seeking info on specific aspects of the disease, this is worth checking out even if you've been lucky enough to find a doctor that recognizes autoimmune conditions). This isn't written for laymen--you will want to have a dictionary on hand, or at least make heavy use of the glossary at the end, as unfamiliar terms like "lymphocytes" and "purpura" are thrown about with abandon--though one of the editors has contributed a chapter that explains the molecular biology of DNA and genetics to you, in case you missed that in high school.
The back of the book contains a list of further resources, including support groups, that you may want to seek out, though the web addresses in this 4th edition may become outdated (from 2012):
