Totally visual delight! The story is that of a little one who falls asleep to become beguiled by the stars in the sky, especially the Ursa.
The illustrations by Carolina T. Godina are multiple, imaginative, colorful, and representative.
There are remarkably few words but it is great for sharing WITH someone of any age, and great for gifting to everyone, but especially to a school, hospital, or your local public library!
I requested and received a free temporary e-book on Adobe Digital Editions from the

Well written and beautifully illustrated! This is a gem of a book about migration, to go back to time and time again. I love the extra information about the animals at the end of the book. This is a great addition to our home library!

This beautiful tale of winter migration seamlessly weaves together the narrative of an Arctic tern's journey south with the travels of five other animal species - humpback whales, caribou, Canada geese, leatherback turtles, and monarch butterflies. The illustrations are gorgeous and realistic, paired with simple text following one Arctic tern from the Arctic to Antarctica. In the backmatter, we learn that this is the longest migration of any animal in the world. A lovely example of how nonfiction can be made accessible and engaging to readers of all ages.

As a side note, shame on the publisher for slapping a large sticker on the beautiful shimmering book jacket cover just to inform us that an audiobook version is included! Can't seem to peel it off, so I'd like to register a complaint with whoever made that poor choice!!

Cute story and illustrations of a little tern heading south for the winter. There's also a glossary in the back of terms and animals within the pages.
