An interesting commentary on the social and cultural effects of the spread of Darwinism throughout the social fabric of America.

This is a useful reference for students of C.S. Lewis. It's not something you'd read through, but more of an encyclopedia of ideas and concepts.

For systematic discussion of Lewis' works, including his literary scholarship as well as his Christian writings, this volume is valuable. Some of the articles are, however, odd or ridiculous, particularly several that accept uncritically the highly dubious theory that several wrtings attributed to Lewis were forged by Walter Hooper (who naturally is not among the contributors). My review is at http://stromata.tripod.com/id77.htm… (mais)
