An amazing artist's book. Tells an amazing, sad story beyond the gimmickry of the paper.

When I saw this book, common sense informed me that I couldn't possibly need yet another book about bookbinding and book art techniques. However, this one is so clear, so well-organized, and altogether both useful and inspirational that it was quite irresistible. It's also free of "fluff": there are no faddish book techniques here, just basic and classic techniques well-presented. A useful resource, especially for beginners (which, despite the number of books on bookbinding I own, is what I am).
